I love you, my Ukraine! State symbols of Ukraine

 

Within the framework of the methodical week of the cycle commission of humanitarian and socio-economic training on May 15 for the students of the group K-23 specialty “Preschool education” by teacher OM Gargat-Ukrainchuk held an open session on the discipline “Fundamentals of Law” on the topic: “State symbols of Ukraine”.

State symbols are defined and affixed on the constitutional and legal level the official signs of the state, which in a concise form reflect its sovereignty and ideology, as a rule, have ethnic and national origin.

According to Article 20 of the Constitution of Ukraine, the national flag of Ukraine, the State Emblem of Ukraine and the National Anthem of Ukraine are the national symbols of Ukraine.

State symbols are an important attribute of the modern state, part of its constitutional order. Symbols of a nation created by it in the process of its own state formation, over time, as a rule, become state as a result of their consolidation at the legislative and legal level. The historical tradition, as evidenced in symbolism, transforms the population into a people, shapes a nation. The national symbols of Ukraine are a concentrated expression of the leading role of the nation in the formation of its own state.
