To the 75th anniversary of the expulsion of German invaders and their allies from Ukraine

October 28, 2019 marks the 75th anniversary of the expulsion of German invaders and their allies from the territory of modern Ukraine. On this occasion, students of the K-32 group together with their curator Bogdan Maksymets visited the Heroes of the Dnieper Museum in Ivano-Frankivsk, which is a branch of the National Military History Museum of Ukraine. The museum exposition is dedicated to the activities of the 38th Army in the Second World War in our country. Thousands of World War II exhibits are displayed on stands, catwalks, and showcases: combat banners, weapons, awards, personal effects, documents, photographs, letters from the front, items of equipment and life of fighters and commanders. Samples of small arms and artillery, newspapers, and leaflets occupy a considerable part of the exposition. There are also examples of weapons now being used in the war in eastern Ukraine. She was especially fascinated with the excursions of the Diorama feat on the Dnieper. In general, visiting the museum was extremely interesting, informative and impressive for the students.
