Recently, a round table discussion was held at the Prosvita People’s House in Ivano-Frankivsk on the role of Stepan Bandera in the fight for freedom and independence of Ukraine.
The event was organized by the Klych Civic Christian Movement, the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Organization of the Prosvita High School, the Ivano-Frankivsk Stepan Bandera Center for Patriotic Youth Education, and the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional Museum of Liberation Competitions.
The roundtable aimed at Stepan Bandera’s anniversary to conduct a historical and political analysis around the little-known pages of the conductor’s biography, to find out on the basis of historical facts the essence of his sacrifice and the difficult struggle for freedom of the Motherland, to establish the role of S. Bandera in the deployment of the Ukrainian national movement. Twentieth century.
Students of Ivano-Frankivsk College of the Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University of PO-14 group Mariana Bazyuk, Maria Virst, Roksolan Ivantsiv, Marian Konik, Andriana Petrunchak, Angelina Shvets under the guidance of the teacher of the college teacher Maxim. During the discussion, they were able to ask a number of interesting questions to the well-known Bandera scholars of the region.
The round table participants concluded that Stepan Bandera is the Hero of Ukraine. Not only now has his life become a symbol, it has been so. From his teenage years, S. Bandera deliberately modeled his existence on a hero, and he succeeded.
