In Ivano-Frankivsk a reconstruction of the events of the November Breakdown and the battles of Ukrainian defenders against the Polish detachments of 1918 took place, which was visited by students of the K-22 group.
Hundreds of townspeople and guests of the regional center were able to plunge into the atmosphere of a hundred years ago, breathe the mood and spirit of Ukrainian patriots. The reconstruction took place with the participation of the Lviv Memory Victims Search Society.
Reconstructionists replayed a battle of Sicha shooters with a Polish army for a city hall in Lviv, which took place 100 years ago during a Ukrainian armed uprising that resulted in the Western Ukrainian People’s Republic. 20 people took part in the reconstruction of the battles. Cars, rifles, guns and armored vehicles were still involved.
The Ivano-Frankivsk Town Hall is also a kind of symbol of the centennial events, as it was the one that proclaimed the creation of the West Ukrainian People’s Republic.
